A visit to the ‘100% magical’ Puy du Fou

The Good Life France reviews Puy du Fou

You may well have heard of France’s Puy du Fou – after all, it has been voted the no. 1 amusement park in France and Europe, and no. 2 worldwide in the TripAdvisor’s Travellers’ Choice 2020 awards, and attracts well over 2m visitors a year – but what do you actually do there? There are no rides and although families love it, it’s also a big hit with older visitors.

There are so many different elements to the Park, and words rarely do it justice. So, last July, we were delighted that Janine Marsh, who edits The Good Life France magazine, managed to squeeze in a visit to find out what all the fuss was about. The resulting review was that it was ‘100% magical’ and that ‘there is nowhere quite like it anywhere in the world.’

Janine managed to fit her trip into a fairly action-packed two nights and one day, cramming in both night-time shows and several of the day-time shows, but was the first to admit that an extra day may have been slightly more relaxing! You can read her full article here.
